The 2026 edition of Pass the SALT conference will be hosted for another year on the Université Catholique de Lille campus in Lille center.

- Persons with reduced mobility: the event is accessible but the entrance requires the presence of a staff member. The number to request assistance will be displayed at the entrance. The access to the workshops rooms from the main lecture hall will be done through a lift usable with a staff member.

How to reach the L5 bus stop at Gare Lille Flandres
You have 3 main options :
- Bus: take line L5 (every ~10min)
- Bus stop: “Gare Lille Flandres” bus stop. From the Lille Flandres station exit: 150m on your right. From the Lille Europe station exit: 300m in direction to the center of Lille.
- Direction: “Le Parc (Haubourdin)”
- Exit: “Université Catholique” stop and then a 5min walk to the 83 Boulevard Vauban.
- Total duration: ~17min

- From: “Lille Flandres” station
- Direction: “Lille Chu Eurasanté”
- Exit: “Gambetta” stop and then a 13min walk to the 83 Boulevard Vauban.

- From: “Lille Flandres” or “Lille Europe” stations
- Direction: “Lomme St. Philibert”
- Exit: “Cormontaigne” stop and then a 10min walk to the 83 Boulevard Vauban.

And if you want to reach the university from the stations on foot, it will be a 30min walk.
Coming to Lille from Paris
- from “Gare du Nord” station: take TGV train to “Lille Europe” or “Lille Flandres” stations : 60 min
- from “Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport” (CDG) : take TGV train at “Charles de Gaulle” train station inside the airport to “Lille Europe” station : 50 min
Coming to Lille from Brussels
- from Brussels Midi train station : take a TGV or Thalys or Eurostar train to “Lille Europe” station : 35 min
- from Brussels National airport (BRU) : use a national train to reach “Brussels Midi” station (Zuidstation in Dutch): 30-40 min. Then, take a TGV or Thalys or Eurostar train to reach “Lille Europe” station.

Registration
Registration is free (but required) to attend the talks, workshops, pauses and social event.
Before coming to the conference:
- Be registered online
- Print your ticket or have the PDF version with you on your smartphone.
Pauses
- They are provided for free by the organization.
- They are served at the start and half of each morning and afternoon.
Mid day lunchs
- Mid day lunchs are not provided by the organisation.
- You’ll be able to find lunchtime refreshments around the school (from 5 to 20min walk) from traditional restaurants to street food restaurants from all over the world.
- Mid day break will lasts between 1h30 and 2 hours.
Social event
- It is usually held at the bar “Les 3 brasseurs” near the Lille Flandres Station exit on the second day evening. Map.
- To access, your badge will be required.
- Important: you will be able to get 2 free drinks using the 2 coins you have received getting your badge. The event usually paid also for some light food. The rest of the food/beers/softs will be at your charge ;) <– Social event follows usually these rules but who knows in 2026 ;)
